Why
have your own account
?
When you first place an order at our
webshop
you are prompted to fill in your personal information. This data is then stored in a secure database so that you only need to supply this information once. An account has now automatically been created for you. From now on you only need to log in using your unique password to finalise an order.
Furthermore the 'My account' page will allow you to: edit your personal information, check the status of your current order(s), see your order history and manage your address book.
I forgot my password, what to do now?
The 'Forgotten your password?' link on the log in screen (click on 'Log in' at the top-right inside the shop) takes you to a screen where you can have a new password sent to the e-mail address previously registered by you. This new password is generated automatically.
How do I change my password?
If you would prefer to get a new password you can change it yourself after logging into your account (click on 'My account' at the top-right inside the shop).
The 'Edit details' button will take you to the screen in question.
How do I know you received my order?
Once you have placed an order a confirmation-screen will be displayed. Furthermore you will receive a confirmation by e-mail containing all the information with regards to the order.
Always thoroughly check if your order is correct, if not, contact us so that we can correct any mistakes you might have made.
Are the prices inclusive?
Yes, all prices in the shop include 19% VAT but exclude shipping costs
What are the shipping costs?
This depends on the size and weight of the article. For this reason we have divided our range of articles in 3 separate cost classes:
Inside The

- € 2,50 (mainly the jewellery collection)

- € 7,25 (orders of more than 1 pair of shoes)
Europe
- € 4,00
- € 8,00
- € 16,00 (the shoes collection)
Rest of the world
- € 5,50

- € 18,00 (the shoes collection)
When you go through the check-out process the shipping costs are clearly stated.
If you decide to pay at the door (in other words: cash on delivery) an additional charge of € 6
,50
is added to the previously stated shipping costs. Cash on delivery shipments are not possible outside The Netherlands (the postal authorities here stopped offering this service to other countries).
If we ship your order in multiple parts the extra shipping costs are for us.
To which countries do you ship?
Gotika
ships to all countries in the European Union. In Europe we also ship to
Switserland

Norway

Iceland
. Outside of Europe we ship to the
USA

New Zealand
and
Japan
. We only ship to other countries on request.
What about the clothing sizes?
The sizes generally range from S / M / L / XL to XXL. If there is no option to select the size the article in question is 'one-size'.
A lot of the garments are made of velvet (a somewhat stretchable fabric) and lace-up
details,
as such they easily fit on your body. Consequently more measurements fit in 1 standard confection size (e.g. sizes 36-
38 in
S). This is also stated at the sizes information of the article in question.
I am not sure about my ring-size, how to find out?
The ring-size corresponds with inside diameter of the ring. The easiest thing to do is to take a ring that fits on the desired finger and to measure that.

How long until I receive my order?
Ordered articles are usually shipped within 14 days. Providing everything is in stock and the article in question does not have a longer stated delivery time. Please contact us for the exact term. With both cash on delivery and payment in advance shipments we generally wait until your entire order is fulfilled. As soon as your package has been put on the mail you will receive an automatic email.

It takes 2 days on average for TPG Post to deliver the package to your door.
Europe
:
Delivery usually takes place within 8 days after shipment.
Rest of the world
:
On average this will take 10-20 days.
Is 24-hour delivery possible?
This is indeed possible (providing the article is in stock of course)
,
we would use a courier service for that. But this is generally quite expensive. We basically have the following motto:
If you need something quickly we are always willing to work with you and try to come to a workable solution. Of course it is always possible to
come
pick up your order. We do this on appointment, so please contact us first.
What if a product is out of stock?
We always try to have everything in stock but if it so happens that an article is sold out we will always try to re-stock it as soon as possible.
If this takes longer then expected we will contact you, so that you'll not be needlessly waiting. If you want to know the exact status of your order, then please contact us.
If an item is not included in the received order, will it arrive later?
Usually yes, unless the article has been discontinued by the manufacturer. In both cases we will inform you of this. If we ship your order in multiple parts the extra shipping costs are for us.
Can I visit you?
We are a mail-order company and do not have a so-called brick-and-mortar shop. But it is possible to visit us to pick up your order or to try on certain articles. Please contact us beforehand to make an appointment.
Do you accept returns?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase it is possible to return and exchange it for another article. We also have a so-called "money back" guarantee.
Please return the article(s) together with your invoice within 8 days following receipt, in perfect state, post-paid (packages without postage will not be accepted)
On the invoice please state:
- Date of receipt
- Reason for returning the article
- If you would prefer another article or your money back
- The necessary account-information to transfer back the amount paid to (which will take place within 2 weeks)
In the following instances returned articles will not be accepted:
A) Clothing has been worn, washed and/or damaged
B) Goods for hygienic reasons (make-up, stockings, lingerie, etc)
C) You have tried to repair a defect yourself
D) You have not followed the guidelines in the manual and/or instructions of use
E) Article is not complete
What if I received a wrong or faulty item?
If you find an article to be damaged or faulty (or if we accidentally sent you something wrong) then please contact us within 14 days after taking delivery.
So please always check the articles on receipt.
Due to the fact that a lot of the jewellery we sell is completely handcrafted, small alterations in model and/or colour may exist.
After contacting us please return the article together with your invoice post-paid (these costs will be compensated by
Gotika
. Please note: only if there is something wrong with the article without your fault).
On the invoice please state:
- Date of receipt
- Reason for returning the article
- If you would prefer a replacement or your money back
- The necessary account-information to transfer back the amount paid to (which will take place within 2 weeks)
How can I pay?
There are several ways to pay:
- Cash on Delivery
Payment takes place when the postman delivers the package to your door. An additional charge of € 6
,50
is added to the previously stated shipping costs due to the extra costs TPG Post charges for this service. Cash on delivery shipments are not possible outside The Netherlands (the postal authorities here stopped offering this service to other countries).
- Payment in advance
Payment preferably takes place by transferring the amount due to our bank-accounts (we have accounts in The Netherlands, Bank accounts in
Germany
and
Belgium
will be active soon). Next to this we also offer the possibility to pay with
PayPal
(for instance, using your credit card). If you prefer to pay in a different way (e.g. by cheque or money order) then please contact us. Always remember to refer to your order number.

What if I want to send someone a
present,
is that possible?
Sure, no problem. At the check-out you can choose an alternative delivery address. After confirming your order you will find an input field on the following screen where you can leave requests or comments with regards to your order.
If you inform us that it is a present we will make sure the article sent nicely wrapped to the person in question (without the invoice of course, that will be finding its way towards you).
Do you do wholesale?
No, we're not a wholesale company.

is aimed at the consumer market.
What happens with my personal data?
This data will only be used for the purpose of processing orders from you and for correspondence with regards to placed orders and payments of those orders.
We will never disclose any information from our records to third parties without your explicit consent.
